Jeffersonville Time: ...

In July of 1964, a brother named Gagnon wrote Brother Branham, asking him if it was alright for him to serve Communion in his home, as he wasn’t a minister. Brother Branham replied back and told him, “yes, you take it, you don’t have to be a minister to do this.”

Dear Brother Gagnon;

Greetings in the name of the Lord:

It was a pleasure to hear from you today, and I trust that this letter will find you well, and in the service of the Lord;

It was a pleasure to read your letter, and see that you were sincere in your asking me the following questions. I will try by the help of the Lord to answer them for you. First; In regards to taking the communion, Yes you take it, you don’t have to be a minister to do this, the wine is O.K.. and the question that you asked about the number 666 it is only your birth path, and that means nothing at all as you are now re- born a child of the Lord.

Trusting to hear from you again in the near future.

Yours In His service;

Brother Branham

NOTE: The question I asked Bro. Branham is as follows:

I told him we had no minister, and wanted to know if it was all right for me to give communion. Also, if it was all right to use “Kosher” wine.
